Board Member at Large
Renee began volunteering with the WBSTP in 2010 and became a board member in 2014. She is a retired educator with 30 years’ experience as a special education teacher and a school counselor. Renee finds working to preserve these majestic creatures, the nesting sea turtles of Wrightsville Beach, very fulfilling and treasures the friendships she has made through volunteering. She is a nature lover and also enjoys the many opportunities for picking up litter and photographing beach scenes that volunteering provides.
